It is my pleasure to welcome all competitors, officials and supporters to my home club which has put its facilities at the disposal of the Irish Bowling Association for the 2019 National Championships.
My thanks goes to everyone in Ards Bowling Club for all the work which has gone on in the background to ensure everything was in readiness for this event.
I am also greatful to the Umpires, markers and score board attendants who willing give of their time to officate and help things run smoothly.
To all spectators and supporters, your contribution is considerable and we were rewarded by sunshine and some very fine bowling played and enjoyed in a true sporting atmosphere and keen competition in both the semi finals
